EDISON MEMORIAL TOWER CORPORATION BOARD

MARAGARET (PEGGY) INGLESE - SECRETARY

Peggy began her lifetime commitment to giving whatever she can to improve the lives of those who live in the community from her experiences during the depression. Today, even as an octogenarian, Peggy belongs to the Edison Art Society, as well as the EMTC. By her own admission, Peggy is the one person who can always be depended on to ask for donations from businesses, other community organizations, and residents. Although she refers to herself as “a beggar lady,” Peggy’s efforts are applauded by those who work with her.

Peggy and her husband, Sam, raised four wonderful “givers,” whom Sam and Peggy nurtured in the same way as Peggy’s parents taught their children. The Inglese family lived in Milltown, where Peggy served on the Board of Education, the Water Quality Study in 2008, and a 4H leader, among many other contributions of her time, effort, and money to help those groups.

A bookkeeper by trade, as well as an assistant to her husband who was part owner of a management of property firm in Metuchen.
