Reinvention of Menlo Park

Reinvention of Menlo Park

The Edison Memorial Tower Corporation (EMTC) has developed conceptual plans for the "reinvention" of Menlo Park. With the assistance of a multidisciplinary team of consultants, EMTC involved the public in creating the vision for the future of the site.

The plans for the Thomas Edison Center at Menlo Park include:

  • Restoration of the Edison Memorial Tower
  • Construction of a new museum that both depicts the site's history and reflects the themes of invention and research and development
  • Outdoor interpretive exhibits
  • Rejuvenated 36-acre Edison State Park

The reinvented site will provide an important cultural and civic amenity to Edison Township and the surrounding area.
